Improving health in the Asian community after a heart attack or heart surgery

We are the only centre in India researching the social, psychological and behavioural side of heart disease — the human face of it — and translating those findings into better care for patients and their families.

Who we are

A grant to bring cardiac rehabilitation closer to the community

The Centre was awarded a grant by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare to work with community-controlled health organisations in India, improving community participation in cardiac rehabilitation and secondary prevention services.
